Puzzles for the press
Last updated August 31, 2026
Just One deals a fresh set of logic puzzles every day, in four languages. If you put together a newspaper, a local weekly, a school or club newsletter — anything with pages and readers — the puzzles can be in it. Two ways, both simple.
What there is
Four of our games take to paper well, and each has a printable page with a ready sheet for every board: Sudoku in three difficulties, Nonograms in three sizes — each day a different picture, Hashiwokakero — the bridge-building puzzle — and Star Battle. A new set appears every day, so there is always a board nobody has printed yet.
A pack put together for you
If the ready sheets do not fit your layout, we can prepare a pack: the games you pick, as many boards as you need, at the difficulty your readers like, in the format and size your columns ask for — with the solutions alongside, if they are of use.
Write to contact@playjustone.com and say where the puzzles would appear and what you need. There is no form behind that address — a person reads the mail and answers it.
Straight from the site
You are also welcome to simply take what is already here. The daily boards and sheets may be reprinted under CC BY 4.0 — in a paid paper or a free one, in any print run.
The licence asks one thing, and so do we: somewhere by the puzzle, a visible line saying it came from playjustone.com. Small print is fine — it just has to be there.
One care: the Nonogram pictures are drawn by named artists (game-icons.net, CC BY 3.0), and their names must travel with the picture. The footer of every printed sheet already carries them — reprint the sheet with its footer and both credits are done.
